SAVE MONEY ON SHIPPING WITH LOOSE CARTS!

Consider this when shipping with Canada Post and USPS.

Here's something that Postal Offices will not share with you!

Many people believe it is expensive to ship internationally, between the United States and Canada. It's not really true if you can keep it as a Letter-Mail!

However, when using this option, make sure your buyer understands or that you clearly indicate this below; especially when selling online:

SHIPPING LOOSE GAME CARTRIDGES

Here is a simple guideline to follow to reduce the shipping cost, save your time, or any hassles filling customs forms when shipping internationally.

Shipping loose game cartridges such as Atari, ColecoVision, Intellivision, Sega, Nintendo, PSP, Xbox, Playstation, or anything else that can fit inside a large yellow or plastic envelope, they can actually be shipped using the Letter-Mail option as long as they are not thicker than 20mm (0.8 in.).

This method only requires you to buy stamps only, no customs forms to fill, and you can even drop them directly in the mailbox, saving you a trip to the Post-Office!

For example, you can ship up to eight (8) Atari or ColecoVision loose game cartridges flat inside an envelope as long as you lay them down flat and make sure they will hold in place flat (just sandwich them between thin white cardboards).

Make sure also they are tightly inserted inside the envelope. Instead of using those large yellow business-like envelopes, you can also use plastic bag mailers.

Avoid using bubble-envelope because the letter-mail height will become too thick. Use a Kraft envelope or better yet, a flat plastic shipping mailer. The cartridges are sturdy enough. for the transit.

Also, when using the Letter-Mail shipping method, make sure to share this information below with your buyer:

"Letter Mail option does not come with tracking nor insurance, by choosing this option, you agree that I am in no way responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered mail".

Canada Post Letter-Mail Pricing reference:

As you can see, it can be quite affordable to ship loose game cartridges, if you know how to make them fit flat inside a large letter-mail envelope!

As long as you are shipping your games flat, and making sure they will stay flat within the envelope (ex. using thin cardboard or scotch tape) then you can add as many you can without exceeding 500 g. and its maximum thickness of 20 mm (0.8 in.).

Over 500 grams solution (17.637 oz)
If you happen to exceed 500 g, then simply ship them in multiple envelopes, it will highly still be cheaper than using the parcel shipping method.
